The IANH Youth Group helped proctor the NSF Quiz Bowls. The 2022 Bowls were online and NSF asked us to log into the zoom meeting to watch over the participants and help them with technical issues. The competition went smoothly other than some technical hiccups such as some of the kids not being able to unmute or turn on their video.

While we do usually have one specific organization we try to help each year, IANH YG has also always been very involved in our local soup kitchens, specifically the ones in Nashua and Derry. While the soup kitchens generally get a lot of donations and funding during the Holiday seasons, they are often low on many valuable resources during the other times of the year. As a group we collected donations of canned items and were able to donate it to the Sonshine Soup Kitchen in Derry New Hampshire.

IANH's Diwali festival and Garba 2022 was a fun, festive event with many cultural performances. There were stands which the youth group ran, helping and encouraging little ones to make greeting cards and paint diyas which they seemed to really enjoy. There were also many stands to buy Indian clothing and accessories, along with a lot of festive foood. The youth group also managed the backstage, where they had to MC, manage things related to the performances, and help coordinate audio for the function. After the performances, there was a fun family fashion show along with a very entertaining garba, which made many people smile during the festive event. Celebrating the festival of lights was a very joyful IANH event.

IANH Youth Group members organized a flea market fundraiser in Hollis, NH. They set up a table outdoors with secondhand goods like board games, jewelry, bikes, books, antiuqes, kids' toys, and more. The items were sold at a price range from $1 to $20. It was our first fundraiser since Covid and we successfully made around $80.

One of the biggest goals of IANH per year is to raise money for a specific cause and either donate it or use it towards advocating something by the end of the year. The IANH Youth Group has helped with volunteering at almost all of IANH’s Vasant festivals, with the ushering, audio, emceeing, and backstage work. In addition to this, this year we had decided to hold a snack table selling drinks, chips, and candy. This was one of our kickstarter events after Covid so that we could raise money to fund money for our other events.
