28 year old South Asian doctor Vinay Chakravarthy is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant. Vinay grew up in California, graduated from UC Berkeley before moving to Boston University where he received his Masters and MD degrees. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in November 2006 and was recently informed he is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant.
