Sunday September 17, 2006 Lunch service at the Nashua Soup kitchen - Looking for Volunteers to help serve lunch to the homeless

 We scheduled the next lunch service on Sunday September 17.  Volunteers from the NH Sri Sathya Sai Group will be preparing the lunch and serve the guests.  We are looking for volunteers to help us with cooking and serving meal.  The cooking team will start at 8:30 AM, and the service team will take over at 11:00 AM. The grand gala IANH Diwali celebration will be held on Oct 14 2006 at the Nashua High School North auditorium.

General Admission: IANH Members- $5; Non members- $10; Children under 5 free.  Admission includes Entertainment and Dandiya

Cultural Program: 4 p.m. Seating begins at 3.30 p.m. Social Hour: 7.30 to 8:30 p.m.  Dandiya: 8:30 p.m.

Food Court will be open at 4:30 PM for snacks and dinner sales

This cultural event will be held in the Nashua High School North auditorium with a seating capacity of five hundred. The Dinner and Dandiya will be held in the cafeteria.  Limited number of Dandiya sticks will be available for use.  There will be a refundable deposit of $5 for a pair of Dandiya sticks.  For more details call: Vandana Dhakar at (603) 668 9028 or Sowmya Gopal at cultural@ianh.org

Contributions Invited to Samaj Patra

The fall edition of Samaj Patra would be published in the middle of September, 2006. This edition is timed for distribution to IANH members prior to the IANH Diwali 2006 festival. Samaj Patra is the official newsletter of the India Association of New Hampshire. It is published four times a year and each issue is mailed to over 250 member families.
