Saturday June 24, 2006 IANH Youth Members enjoyed discussing topics of mutual interest 

The youth group meeting started off well.  Kala Kumar served as a moderator for the meeting that was held today at the Nashua Public Library on June 24. These meetings are intended to get our youth members together. The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday July 22 at the Nashua Public Library at 12:00 PM sharp. Read more details about the first meeting and information about how to participate.

  • Lunch Service at the Nashua Soup Kitchen on July 16, 2006

The Nashua Soup Kitchen management is short of volunteer team to support them on Sundays during summer months.  They requested if we could help them with serving lunch on Sunday July 16 at the Soup kitchen.  The need is urgent and therefore we accepted the request.  We are looking for three volunteer from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. to help us with the cooking and another three to help us serve lunch between 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.  We plan to prepare vegetarian Ziti and salad. Desert items will be supplied by the soup kitchen.  Please contact Barinder Ahluwalia (barinder@aol.com) or Prithvi Kumar (president@ianh.org) if you are available.  You can also donate cash contributions to help us with this event.  The estimate for lunch service is $120.  Please send your tax deductible contributions to IANH Public Service fund P. Contributions Invited to Samaj Patra

The Summer edition of Samaj Patra would be published in the middle of July, 2006. Samaj Patra is the official newsletter of the India Association of New Hampshire. It is published four times a year and each issue is mailed to over 250 member families.  

We are inviting your contributions to the Spring Edition of Samaj Patra in any of the following categories. Please email your contributions to the Associate Editor Manish Manchanda at  Manish_ianh@yahoo.com by Friday July 7, 2006. 

  • Member News (Accomplishments, family events, graduations, awards, promotions, etc.)
  • Members Corner (Stories, poems, articles, jokes, etc.)

  • Half Page Ad (height 4"x width 7"): $60 per issue, $192 for four issues
  • Quarter Page Ad (height 4" x width 3"): $35 per issue, $112 for four issues
  • Business card (height 2" x width 3"): $20 per issue, $64 for four issues.
