Officers of IANH    Address

The New Hampshire Association of Asian Indians was founded in 1989 to serve the needs of the New Hampshire community. The association was formed to provide an opportunity to the Indian community to stay connected with their cultural heritage.

In addition it provides an organized forum by which our members can enrich the lives of their children by exposing them to their heritage.

The association received the status of non-profit, tax-exempt status in 1991.

The association was reorganized and the name was changed to the India Association of New Hampshire (IANH) in 1999. 

IANH has been serving the needs of the NH Indian community through Cultural, Educational, and Public Service  committees as a part of the IANH Executive body. View the listing of the officers of IANH.

The Public Relations Committee is being organized and will be added to the Executive body.

IANH membershipis open to all persons who agree to abide by the goals and objectives of the association and its by-laws

IANH Cultural events and educational activities  are open to the general public, and include:

IANH emphasizes the need for the Indian community to actively participate in public service programs organized by the association to serve the needy. The following are examples of the community service available to our members:

The following are examples political awareness  programs:

  • Organize lectures by politicians and educators on political education

  • Promote voter registration

  • Keep the community informed of political, educational, environmental, professional and other issues of concern to the Indian community

  • Maintain close contact with Indian embassy and consulate personnel to promote goodwill between India and the U.S.A.
