On March 24 2001 IANH visited the
Hillsborough County Nursing Home in
Goffstown NH and entertained the senior citizens on wheel chair. Talented
students of the dance school “Natyanjali” performed various styles of Bharat
Natyam. East Indian cultural entertainment was done for the first time in the
Nursing Home.
It was also the first time our association used
the cultural talents towards Public Service. The committee expresses sincere
thanks to Anusha Prasad,
Nitya Venkatramani,
Thajeswari Shanker, and Padhma Radhakrishnan, Lalitha Parameshwaran, and their
leader Jayanthi Ramamoorthy. Padma Mathur took on the task of organizing this
event. She worked very hard and coordinated all the tasks. The committee
thanks Padma for her efforts. The committee also express my sincere thanks to
Vandana Dhakar, Nilima Panchal, and Kala Kumar for their assistance during the
event.
