Thanks to IANH, Nashua Soup Kitchen has a brand new steam table to keep food warm for serving to its guests. IANH President Prithvi Kumar, Chair of Public Service Barinder Ahluwalia and Secretary Tej Dhakar traveled to Nashua on March 12, 2008 to hand over a check for $689 to Kitchen Manager Doug Aldrich. Doug expressed his appreciation for the donation and said that the new steam table will be very useful to them in providing better quality food to their guests every day. Doug was all praise for the IANH volunteers who cook and serve food at the Nashua Soup Kitchen eight Sundays a year.

Here is Nashua Soup Kitchen’s wish list: $25 gas card to each of about 20 volunteers who use their own cars and gas to pick up and deliver food to the Soup Kitchen; $10 gift card for a Nashua grocery store to each of about 200 guests at thanksgiving so they can buy their own turkey; and a new energy-efficient stove costing approximately $2000 to replace their ten-year old stove. If you would like to help, please contact Barinder Ahluwalia at publicservice@ianh.org
