On Sunday Jul 15, volunteers from the India Association of New Hampshire’s (IANH) Public Service group prepared and served lunch to over sixty guests at the Nashua Soup Kitchen.
The volunteers comprising of Maureen and Hans Byrnes; Pratheek Kalyanapu from the youth group and his two cousins and aunt, Anuradha, Arya, and Anokh Palakurthi, Vandana Dhakar, Barinder Ahluwalia and Puneetha Kalayanpu, Mayyappan, Usha Dwarakanath and Monica Deshpande helped prepare and serve a hearty meal of ziti, with spring salad, bread, and dessert.
The Association is committed to Public Service and signed a contract with the soup kitchen to provide lunch service throughout 2007. The next cooking services are scheduled for Sept 16th, Oct 21, and Dec 16 for this year. The association welcomes anyone to join its team of volunteers. IANH is approved by the State of NH to perform charity services.
