Nashua Soup Kitchen April 20, 2008
On Sunday April 20, 2008 IANH volunteers Sai and Ramya Krishna, Prithvi and Kala Kumar, Prabha Vajjhala, Janaki and Vignesh Viswanathan, and Sekhar Vajjhala, helped to prepare and serve hot lunch to the guests at the Nashua Soup Kitchen. The cooking team arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. and started making preparations for lunch that included pasta, tofu sauce, and spaghetti. Prabha Manjunath, Gourihankar, Usha and Anirudh Dwarakanath and joined the team at 11:30 a.m. to prepare the table and serve the meal to over forty guests. The guests were appreciative of the service rendered by the NH Indian American community in spite of the inclement weather. The volunteers closed the facility at 1:30 p.m. after clean-up. All materials were donated by volunteers.
Manchester Soup Kitchen April 26, 2008

Five volunteers from IANH served dinner on April 26th, 2008 to the clients of New Horizon Soup Kitchen in Manchester. There were 137 people who were served a sumptuous dinner of Beef Pasta, rice & wild mushrooms & beef soup, beans, salad, bread and dessert. The dinner was sponsored by Anu Palakurthi and she also served the dinner. Others who volunteered to serve were her teenage children Arya Palakurthi & Anokh Palakurthi. Puneetha Palakurthi & Pratheek Kalyanapu also joined them in serving the dinner. The diners enjoyed the food and thanked the volunteers & IANH for their service. Puneetha

IANH is a member of the Nashua Soup Kitchen’s ‘Champions in action’ team. The next service of vegetarian menu is scheduled for June 15th lunch at Nashua Soup Kitchen, and June 28th dinner service at Manchester Soup Kitchen.
