January 1996:NHAAI organized and raised money to cover the rehabilitation expenses for twelve-year-old girl named Savitri. She sustained multiple head injuries when she was involved in a truck accident while returning from school on May 21, 1994. The association members contributed a sum of $300 that was donated in her name to National Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem NH on May 16, 1996. NHAAI expresses thanks to members for their generosity.

April 2002: IANH donated a sum of $950 to Saraswathi Mandhiram from the proceeds of the Spring Festival on April 6, 2002. Saraswathi Mandhiram operates a school for Indian children. IANH thanks Nilima and Harish Panchal for their effort to organize this fund raising event to help the temple.

January 2003: The Public Service Committee donated a sum of $1000 to Jadwani fund in January 2003. Jadwani fund is managed by the Southern NH University to help students from India. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Tej Dhakar for coordinating this effort. 

October 2003:The Public Service committee organized a drive to collect clothing, utensils, groceries, and entertainment items to help the Asian Task Force for Women. Asian Task Force helps Asian women who are the victims of domestic abuse in the greater Boston area. The collection was donated to the Lowell shelter on November 26, 2003. The Public Service committee thanks IANH members for their generosity.
