We are committed to serve at Manchester Soup Kitchen from 4 - 6 PM on every 4 th Saturday of the month for the year 2008. Feb 23 was our first cooking and serving dinner sponsored by Dr. Padma Mathur in the auspicious memory of her parents. The cook and volunteer Dr. Padma Mathur with the help of Dr. Kala Kumar prepared the dinner and Lentil Soup earlier in the day.
Raj Jain, Narinder Jain, and Jasmine Pandit served the dinner. The dinner was served to about 130 patrons on a cold day which was much appreciated by the Soup Kitchen and the Patrons.
This endeavor is not possible without the help of volunteer and your contribution. Every dollar that you gives goes directly to feeding the people who are down on their luck. Our next date for Manchester is set for March 22 which will be sponsored by Puneetha Palakurthi's family. Next date for Nashua Soup Kitchen is March 16 (Sunday) which will be sponsored by Karthi Chandra in memory of her parents. Please think about giving couple of hours of your time to help come cook or serve sometime. It will be one of the most gratifying time in your life. Let's keep the spirit of giving going.
