About Us
The IANH- Saheli is working to bring about equality and equity for the women in general and from immigrant and refugee communities in specific. It is an activity of the Public Service Committee of Indian Association of New Hampshire and is coordinated by a team of core group members representing the IANH membership.IANH-Saheli is an inclusive effort and will not discriminate any one based on race, age, gender and ethnicity. Saheli has offered to provide its technical expertise and other resources to IANH to build its capacity. Southern New Hampshire University’s Nashua Center and Kumon Center of Nashua are supporting this initiative by providing the facilities like class rooms and a computer laboratory to conduct free classes and networking sessions.
Activities of IANH –Saheli include but not limited to offering free classes in Financial Literacy, ESL, Computer literacy, help with legal documents, and joint women & children socializing sessions, immigration clinics, action research and advocacy in the areas of domestic violence and provide a safe and secure networking for people in need.
