Education Bees 2007

The primary focus of the Education  Committee which coordinates the Educational activities  is to promote educational values to children of the community. The India Association of New Hampshire (IANH) recognizes the importance of good verbal and written communication skills in childhood development.  The Education committee was chartered to develop programs that would help our children develop these skills. The IANH Education Committee has been organizing Spelling Bee in collaboration with North South Foundation - NSF since 2002.

IANH seizes this challenge and provide opportunities to: 

• Youngsters to overcome weakness in communication skills

• Help motivate children to achieve skills in vocabulary and spelling

• Provide an environment that motivates learning through competition

• Offer the local community an opportunity to get involved in an actions that benefits our children  

IANH sponsors the NH regional contest designed by NSF. These contests are held in various centers in different regions on the country during March and April of each year. Winners from each contest compete at the National level held in August of each year. Please visit North South Foundation web site for more information. 

This event is an opportunity for the community groups to be our partner in helping our young adults acquire good communication skills. Donations to sponsor events and prizes are welcome. Sponsorship to this activity helps to motivate children and build a competitive spirit.   

The committee organizes workshop to help students prepare for spelling bee.
